This 22 page paperback book contains maps, images, and information about the battle of Monocacy on July 9, 1864. The book starts with an introduction to the battle and visits each site on the battlefield. Images are supplied with text and graphics overlaying the action and troops on each area of land. This book also contains simulated maps of the area, information and pictures of monuments on Monocacy National Battlefield, and driving directions for each stop.

All the text and photos contained in this booklet are the work of Ron Smith. His company Antietam Digital Photo is located in Pleasant Valley, Maryland near the foot of Maryland Heights, approximately five miles from Harpers Ferry, West Viriginia. Ron works very closely with National Park Service personnel to assure that the information contained in this booklet is correct and has been thoroughly reviewed prior to being offered for sale. The aerial photos are unique to this booklet and are part of a shared resource between Antietam Digital Photo and the National Park Service.
