New Project: Restoring the Locher Cabin
$10.00

Product Description

The park is currently working on the restoration of the Mary Locher cabin. Several soldiers fell on the grounds near this home during the furious West Woods fighting. The picture you see is what the cabin looked like during a survey by Thos. T. Waterman, Photographer in March 1940. This image was taken soon after the collapse of the heun log structure that was attached to the far left of the building. The debris from the collapse can be seen in the picture.
