These three Monocacy magnets each depict a scene painted by artist Keith Rocco.
The first magnet depicts Confederate General John McClausland's Cavalry brigade crossing the Monocacy River at the Worthington-McKinney Ford of July 9, 1864. The brigade launched two successive attacks on the Thomas Farm to dislodge Union defenders.
The second shows the covered bridge over the Monocacy River being burned by Union soldiers on July 9, 1864 in order for Wallace to shift the focus of his troops to meet a separate attack.
And the third magnet displays a battery of Confederate artillery on the Best Farm engaged Union defenders during the Battle of Monocacy on July 9, 1864. The Confederates engaged 39 guns by the end of the day compared to 7 Union pieces.
Each magnet measures 3 1/2" x 2" and is in full color and has a fully magnetic backing. Each magnet is $3.30 or 2 for $4.95.
